BIO of Lynne Logan
EDUCATION: B.A., English, Marshall University, 1988 Robert McKee Seminars (Story, ‘03; Thriller/Horror, ‘04; Masterpiece, ‘05)
AWARDED WORKS: Writer’s Digest’s 74th Annual Writing Competition, 2005 5th Place (of 18,000 entries) in – screenplay: Saving Halli Weaver; Quarterfinalist in Scriptapalooza 2006; Top 25% of Screenwriting Expo 2006;
PERSONAL DATA: Lynne Logan was born in Huntington, West Virginia, and also attended East Tennessee State University and Ohio University briefly prior to transferring to Marshall University. She lives in a suburb of Columbus, Ohio, with her husband, who is an IT Consultant. She and her husband have been together for almost nine years, and she has two sons who are 20 and 14. She has two dogs that are both a Chow/German Shepherd mix. After graduating from college, she worked as a paralegal; a recruiter; an editor; an English Professor; part-time model; a Systems Support Consultant at WorldCom; and she is now a full-time writer and freelance editor. Her hobbies include: aerobics/weight-lifting, watching thriller/horror films, traveling, and listening to rap music. She isn’t a big fan of TV, but her favorite shows that she does watch regularly are the original CSI and Dog, the Bounty Hunter.
